Our ghee is made from the milk of organically raised, free-ranging cows that graze on lush, pesticide-free pastures in the pristine hills of Ilam, Nepal. Crafted using the traditional Ayurvedic Bilona method, this ghee is clarified from butter churned out of naturally set curd, not from industrial butter extracted after milk pasteurization. This ancient technique not only preserves vital nutrients but also enhances the bioavailability of beneficial fatty acids and probiotics. Unlike pasteurized milk that loses most of its microbial life, our raw milk curd retains natural cultures that improve the quality and digestibility of the fat.
